Courses

DESMOND (Diabetes Education and Self Management for Ongoing and Newly Diagnosed) is a course for people with Type 2 diabetes.

The newly diagnosed module is for those within 12 months of diagnosis and the Foundation module is for those with established diabetes.

Please ask your diabetes GP, Nurse or other diabetes practitioner e.g. dietitian to refer you to the DESMOND service.

We have course venues in Willen, Wolverton and Bletchley and courses available on weekdays, in the evenings and on Saturdays.  You will be sent an invitation letter offering choices, within 48 hours of receipt of referral.

DAFNE (Dose Adjustment For Normal Eating)is a course for people with Type 1 diabetes
